Longue Durée
by Ingeborg Annie Lindahl and Trond Lossius
Unfixed chalk drawing on canvas, colored monochrome light and sound (8 channels). H 3, x W 6m
Kongsberg Kunstforening 21.01 - 15.02.2026
When you enter the room, you encounter a panoramic motif, drawn with chalk against a dark background, illuminated in monochrome. As the color of the light slowly changes, different layers of the drawing emerge and disappear again.
You are enveloped by a soundscape. The entire work is a process developed on site through intense collaboration. Image motifs and sound material are based on impressions from the surroundings in Kongsberg, put together into an audiovisual experience, created through dialogue and improvisation where concepts such as time, rhythm, composition, motif, concept and materiality are thought across sound and image.
In a time when everything seems to be going faster and faster, often in the wrong direction, the exhibition is an invitation to think about the world in a longer perspective.
