Light over land

Background for this pice are thoughts about how the landscape and the light here in the north affect us who live here. I am inspired by the atmosphere and the light that alternates between being the realm of the midnight sun and the land of darkness. My wish is to enchant the moment, the mountains and the people who live in the north with the artwork. With this work, I want to explore the tension and space between anthropogenic forces and natural forces that affect the earth locally and globally. And further look at how man responds to this difference between man-made and natural changes.
